Tutorial :: Membuat Form Bersuara dengan Microsoft Speech

Untuk tutorial berikut ini, hanya memaparkan tentang bagaimana cara menggunakan referensi bawaan Windows yakni Microsoft Speech untuk membuat form di Visual Basic 2008 bersuara. Dari sinilah, anda pun bisa berkreasi agar membuat sebuah aplikasi sederhana yang didukung dengan komponen suara, misalnya aplikasi kalkulator sederhana dengan output suara.
Berikut cara menambahkan reference ke dalam project Visual basic 2008
1) Pilih dan Klik 2x pada My Project di dock Solution Explorer(biasanya terletak di dock samping kiri WorkSpace Environment Visual Basic)
2) Kemudian pilih tabMenu Reference

3) Lalu klik tombol Add, maka akan muncul window Add reference
4) Pada window tersebut, pilih tab COM dan carilah reference Microsoft Speech Object Library dan Klik Ok
5) Maka secara otomatis Referensi Microsoft Speech Object Library tersebut telah diduplikasikan ke folder project anda.


6) Setelah itu, Pilih Code View project Anda, lalu anda selipkan sebaris kode Berikut Sebelum Public Class
    Imports SpeechLib
dan sesudah Public Class, anda tinggal mendeklarasikan referensi tersebut.
    Dim Bicara As SpeechLib.ISpeechVoice
Selanjutnya anda cukup memanggil fungsi Speech tersebut dengan cara:
    Bicara.Speak("Hallo")
